the musings of a cat who writes...
Cat Delaney is a Renaissance woman whose focus is and always has been in writing. She is accomplished, creative and diverse in her body of work.
Her writing spans all forms, including poetry, for which she has won numerous awards, films, magazine and newspaper articles, essays, novels, non-fiction books, and plays for the stage; in 2009 she won the prestigious Samuel French award for Canadian playwriting with her social satire, Welfarewell.
Widely travelled, and having lived in various places on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, Cat presently makes her home in Nova Scotia where she lives with her true love and muse (or is that “mews”…) of 38 years, Jim, their brainy collie, Fiona, and five mad proofreading cats.

PENNY: What'd you rob this time, grandma? A ladies clothing store?
ESMERELDA: Indeed; one for old biddies. Fashions for the femme fatal.
